The purpose of this website is to teach personal finance basics and money management to teens and young adults. 

A lack of understanding of basic money skills and not living within your means is a dangerous situation. Money mistakes can take many years to correct. This website will provide a core understanding of personal finance, and young people will be much better prepared.

Schools no longer spend time teaching kids about money. There are few places which offer classes in money management for teen and high school students. Money management skills are important for young people entering college; entering the workforce; and young adults in their twenties living at home or on their own.

Many parents are uncomfortable talking to their kids about money management. This webpage gives an overview of basic personal finance topics that will help introduce teens and young adults to money management skills. 

It is not hard to find a personal finance book or personal finance course. However, most of them focus on investing and providing money management advice. This website does NOT provide advice, it simply EXPLAINS the BASICS of personal finance. Some of the things that we will explain are:
